At Nicola Moore Counselling & Psychotherapy, I provide a compassionate and safe space for people seeking talking therapy services. I believe in creating a non-judgmental environment where my clients feel comfortable discussing their innermost thoughts and feelings. My approach is empathic and holistic, tailoring my therapy techniques to each individual's unique needs and experiences. It is my aim to create a therapeutic atmosphere where clients feel supported and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

Work with me

My office is based within Belper town centre and within easy walking distance from both the bus and train station. If the office setting is not for you, I also offer online, telephone or'walk & talk' around the local area.

I offer individuals a recommended 50 minute appointment, this can be long or short term according to your need.

£55 per session



I offer couples/siblings/parent adult relationships a recommended 75 minute appointment. This can be short or long term depending on your need.

£75 per couple



Throughout the year I run a group therapy for 6-8 people. This would be a committment of 6 x 75 minutes session.

I am a qualified Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree, obtained at the Sherwood Institute of Psychotherapy, Nottingham in 2017.

I have also completed a Health Coach Diploma with the College of Naturapathic Medicine 2023.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which is the professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners.

I have experience working with adults and groups presenting with a wide variety of challenges.

In addition to my private practice I have worked as a therapist and group workshop faciliator within a drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit, therapist within a mental health charity, domestic abuse charity, as well as a local hospice. 

My specialist interests are

Anxiety, Depression, Shame, Addiction, Eating Challenges and relationships however this is not an exhaustive list.

Being a professionally registered BACP member ensures I adhere to the highest standards in competent, proficient and ethical practice. Finally, I am committed to ongoing personal training and development in all areas of practice.
